Tips for better results
Check whether the service charge is already on the bill before adding a tip. If one person ordered much more, have them pay their own items first and split the rest.
Use real figures from your bank statements, not estimates from memory.
Review the plan at the end of each month and adjust the next one.

Everything you type into the bill split calculator stays on your own device. Zapxa does not receive your numbers or documents. If you clear your browser data, your saved entries will be removed, so download a PDF of anything you want to keep.
Frequently asked questions
Should the tip be calculated before or after tax?
Both are common. Many people tip on the pre-tax amount, others on the total. The tool lets you pick, and the difference is small.
Does it split unevenly?
No. It divides the total equally. For uneven shares, enter your own items as the bill and use one person.
What does rounding up do?
Each share is rounded up to the next whole number, and the extra is added to the tip. The tool shows how much that extra is.
